I am creating this blog, in order to record the progress of my music magazine. From creating my school magazine I used programmes such as Photo-shop and InDesign. I feel that I will be more confident when creating my music magazine, as i can use the programmes effectively, and I am more familiar with the different tools with in the programmes. I can use these tools in order for my magazine to appear realistic and official. This blog will also show how I have progressed my Photoshop skills, from my school magazine. To gain more knowledge on music magazines, over the next few weeks I am going to be researching the different genres of music magazines. I am going to be reading the magazines, to gain knowledge of the conventions used. After completing my research I will have a rough idea on what i would like my genre to be, and what conventions I will need to include in order for my magazine to appear official and realistic.
